Shoe Modifications

 

  • Shoe lifts
    • Device used to equal out the leg length.
    • Commonly used for treatment of leg length discrepancy.
    • Can be placed within a shoe or the shoe itself is modified.
  • Rocker soles
    • Addition to the sole of a show to provide a more smoother gait.
    • Commonly used with a rigid ankle structure to relieve the stress on the ankle joint on toe off.
